Scuba diving
The magic of Kythira’s rich underwater world is revealed through this experience.
Cannons from an old pirate shipwreck, massive winches from modern wrecks, parts of World War II aircraft, as well as sea turtles, seals, groupers, octopuses, lobsters, and cuttlefish accompany diving enthusiasts in the island’s calm, crystal-clear waters. Beautiful corals and rocky formations come into view, while a stunning underwater world embraces and calms the visitor through the sensation of weightlessness.
Many of Kythira’s underwater sea caves remain unexplored, mainly on the southwestern side of the island.
